The American Institute Of Ethics mission is governed by a Board of Directors and an advisory board comprised of business executives, politicians, non-profit executives and educators. This cross sector of industries assist AIE to foster discussion, dialog and debate among people of diverse backgrounds to create a common understanding of the basis of ethical behavior.


President & Founder
John Sequerra

One of the original founders of the American Institute of Ethics, John graduate of USF with 40 years of leadership in the insurance business, most recently as Director of Risk Management for Fritz Companies, Inc, in San Francisco. John is also an ordained Permanent Deacon for the Archdiocese of San Francisco.

Deputy Director
Sharon Meagher, IHCP, CMP

Graduate of USF with 20 years in Business Administration and Development for profit and non-profit sectors. Meagher was nominated into Who’s Who Business Women for her contributions to the economic development of the city of Oakland, Ca. She has been on the founding executive management teams of U.S. Doctors for Africa, Pros for Kids, Aircraft Carrier Hornet Foundation & Museum. Certified as an Executive Coach by (CTI), Coaches Training Institute.
